Fifth String was started by Ehsan Aman in 1996 in Northern VA as an exclusive sound production and music recording studio. As a touring musician, Ehsan Aman was selected by Paramount Pictures to write and perform the theme song of the movie “Kite Runner”. One of Ehsan Aman’s songs was chosen by Peabody Symphony of John Hopkins University and performed live in Baltimore Civic Center.

In 2013, Ehsan Aman moved Fifth String to Irvine CA to expand his recording studio into a full multimedia production facility. Irvine CA was mainly chosen due to its central proximity to the Hollywood film industry and Orange County’s booming fashion and music scene. The fact that, Behind Silicon Valley, Irvine has become a high-tech hub for startups, puts Fifth String in a unique position to exercise new and innovative concepts in film, photography, and sound.
